Museumgoers desire quick, digestible information that helps them along on their visit. I developed a digital-signage system that would serve the public while being efficient and dynamic for the institution.
The flexible platform I created announces daily tours and events to visitors while bringing awareness to on-campus amenities, the permanent collection, and smaller exhibitions.
Working with a vendor, I developed a proprietary web platform to schedule and program daily information through an easily accessible Google calendar interface, which would be automatically formatted for display.
Before the implementation of this new system of digital signage, the process was complicated and didn’t allow for on-the-fly edits and adjustments. The new system gives marketing and the ticket office autonomy to manage listings and make up-to-the minute adjustments, all while maintaining the intended look and feel.
